Aquaseal Repair Adhesive is a fantastic product, but contrary to popular belief it's not for wetsuit neoprene repair. Although it can be used to repair wetsuit neoprene when nothing else is available, for neoprene tears neoprene cement is ideal. Aquaseal is very useful for bonding or filling space in a wide variety of materials where the elevated layer created by the dry Aquaseal doesn't interfere with use, as it would when rubbing against the skin on the inside of a wetsuit. When Aquaseal dries it becomes a clear, firm yet flexible material.

Example uses for Aquaseal are:

• Gluing a loading pad that has lining (nylon/lycra) on both sides, to the outside of a lined wetsuit.

• Gluing a pocket to the outside of a lined wetsuit.

• Dabbing Aquaseal on stitching that that is coming loose on the outside of a lined wetsuit.
• Filling up a gouge on the outside of a wetsuit, sock, or bootie, that can't be aligned properly and bonded with neoprene cement.

• Aquaseal was used to make these powerhead pouches out of 3 layers of neoprene.
