The H Dessault footpocket design and fit is similar the old Sporasub footpockets. Unlike the Sporasub the pocket is soft allowing some divers to comfortably dive barefoot.

The footpockets tendons have a T slot which readily accept the blade rails. The tendons of the H Dessault footpockets are easy to install blades into, when bending the tendons backwards the slot opens wide to accept the rails.
